Responsible to assist supervising a staff of hourly Ambassadors and leading the day-to-day manufacturing operations for the Expansion, Bean, and FUF assembly processes. Ensure key objectives are met in areas of on time delivery, quality, cost control & improvement, 6s work place organization and safety.  Work collaboratively and successfully with other functional groups including Maintenance, Shipping and Drop Ship, and Plant Management to drive future business growth, high customer satisfaction (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and a world class manufacturing operation.


Here's what you'll do:

  • Responsible for hourly Ambassador’s results by driving a performance culture and clear job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for directing lead personal to ensure we achieve a high customer on time delivery levels for all customers.
  • Responsibility for identification, documentation, segregation, evaluation, and disposition of non-conforming products, services, or systems by ensuring standard work and visual standards are maintained drive consistent and repeatable quality results.
  • Responsible for all production staff by selecting, discipline, orienting, administering attendance and adherence to company policies, training / coaching employees; developing personal growth opportunities for top performers.
  • Expected to float to necessary shifts and departments to cover vacations, illnesses, peak loading,…..
  • Expected to achieve year over year improvement in production standards by identifying and eliminating waste
  • Ensure labor hours are accurate, approved and assigned to the proper distribution buckets on a daily basis.
  • Assists with developing lean teams with emphasis on championing company’s goals, objectives and implementation plans relative to the company scoreboard.
  • Assists in coaching Comfort Research Ambassadors to accomplish/implement Lean Principles.
  • Assists with on-going education of all employees through Lean Academy and Rapid Improvement Methodologies.
  • A Key Leader in driving Enterprise Wide 6’s implementation and sustainability by promoting a disciplined culture thru daily audits, continuous learning and zone certification process
  • Daily huddles with lead staff, other functional areas, production personnel to ensure outlining daily/weekly expectations.
  • Leads, co-leads and actively participates in overall plant continuous improvement project planning and execution
  • Encourage a fun, creative and positive work environment.


Here's what we need you to have:

  • Associates degree in related field with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience preferred, or equivalent military experience
  • Demonstrated success in Operational Excellence
