The Sales Account Director - Contract is part of a team that helps lead the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location customers, with a focus on establishing and growing our presence in the Contract/Institutional furniture market.  Assigned to a number of customers, the Sales Account Director -Contract is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.

The Sales Account Director -Contract represents the full range of Comfort Research products, and will work cross-functionally to drive company initiatives, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring both company and customer’s expectations are being met.

The Sales Account Director - Contract will focus on customer headquarters and work closely with Comfort Research’s home office.  This position reports to the Senior Director of Sales.

 

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Manage & grow established customers, while developing key new accounts in the Contract/Institutional market space
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet both company and customer expectations
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Pro-actively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
  • Pro-actively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Play a key role within the team, and help to grow a great brand in Big Joe!

Here’s what we need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent Military Experience
  • 3-5 years of Contract/Institutional Furniture Account Sales, or equivalent domain experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team player
