The candidate will be responsible for the efficient dispatch of trade partners purchase orders as well as handle associated administration. They will update and maintain transportation schedules and provide real-time information to the production team and shipping team of any changes and/or updates. Informs Plant Operations of urgent and changing needs to drive results.  Accepts ownership and accountability for the entire process.



  • Create daily shipping schedules and arrival logs
  • Ensure accuracy of loads through verification process and brief drivers on docking procedures
  • Create daily packets for shipping team ensuring accuracy of loads to destinations
  • Monitor and log all carrier failures
  • Schedules and routes trucks through various computer systems and ensures ASC is updated with accurate information
  • Monitors on-time delivery metrics for trade partners
  • Works with Corporate Office in the releasing of orders to plants within GP
  • Ensures plant capabilities to fulfill orders by inventory verifications within ASC and communicates areas of concern or shortages back to assigned trade partner Ambassador
  • Coordinates order execution between main production and dropship for Amazon Warehouse based on their desired shipping method and updates ASC as necessary
  • Supports production with errors and follows up with appropriate parties to find permanent corrective actions for prevention of errors in the future.
  • Participates in problem solving, department meetings and other continuous improvement activities with department personnel. Participates in interdepartmental and cross functional teams.
  • Provides appropriate training when necessary. Utilizes standard work/process documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure all safety policies are followed and report any safety issues to the leadership team.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Occasional exposure to fumes, dust, dirt, and noise
  • Possible cuts, scrapes, bruises, or burns.
  • Hearing protection required in most work areas.

  • High school diploma required (Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent military experience preferred)
  • Preferred prior scheduling experience.
  • High level of computer competence – must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
