Responsible for supervising a staff of hourly personnel, leading and managing the day-to-day manufacturing operations for the Bean Expansion and Bean assembly processes. Ensure key objectives are met in areas of on time delivery, quality, cost control & improvement, 6s work place organization and safety.  Work collaboratively and successfully with other functional groups including sales, engineering, maintenance and customer service to drive future business growth, high customer satisfaction (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and a world class manufacturing operation.

  • Co Responsible for environmental, health & safety - EPA, UOSH Audits and Reporting
  • Responsible for manufacturing staff results by driving a performance culture and clear job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for directing lead personal to ensure we achieve a high customer on time delivery levels for all customers.
  • Ensuring quality documentation and visual standards are maintained to drive consistent and repeatable quality results.
  • Responsibility for identification, documentation, segregation, evaluation, and disposition of non-conforming product
  • Responsible for all production staff by recruiting, selecting, discipline, orienting, administering attendance and adherence to company policies, training / coaching employees; developing personal growth opportunities for top performers.
  • Expected to achieve year over year improvement in production standards by identifying and eliminating waste, implementing measures to prevent reoccurrences across the entire enterprise
  • Ensure labor hours are accurate, approved and assigned to the proper distribution buckets on a daily basis.
  • Assists with developing lean teams with emphasis on championing company’s goals, objectives and implementation plans relative to the company scoreboard.
  • Assists with on-going education of all employees through Lean Academy/Lean Principles and Rapid Improvement Methodologies.
  • A Key Leader in driving Enterprise Wide 6’s implementation and sustainability by promoting a disciplined culture thru daily audits, continuous learning and zone certification process
  • Daily huddles with lead staff, other functional areas, production personnel to ensure outlining daily/weekly expectations.
  • Leads, co-leads and actively participates in overall plant continuous improvement project planning and execution
  • Encourage a fun, creative and positive work environment.

Required Education and Experience:

Associates Degree in related field preferred

Formal Leadership Training/Certification with 2-4 years’ experience preferred

Supervision, Coaching, Training, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Production Planning

Basic computer skills required (Word, Excel and Outlook)


Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Fast paced environment and work with a sense of urgency.

Must be able to endure 8 plus hours on your feet.

Lift 50 pounds at times.
