AWARDS + HONORS
Our culture pyramid on the Recipe for Success mentioned a few pages back really sums up every- thing that we believe as a company. Finding a Better Way, Expecting the Best and Doing the Right Thing have become not only a mantra for meetings and memos, they have become an expectation + standard for working at CR. The Culture Pyramid is the foundation on which we base our entire culture. Because these three ideas are so crucial and foundational to who we are, we decided to reward those at CR who really live up to these standards not only at work, but behind the scenes.
Of course, confetti cannons, jumbo checks + trophies are always present at award ceremonies.
FAB AWARD
Finding A Better Way Award The FAB award is presented
to any CR team member that “Finds a Better Way”. FAB submissions can be anything from finding a better way to fill bean bag chairs, to painting a wall pink because it cheers up the team.
The FAB award is awarded
to one CR Ambassador every quarter (four people per year). The quarterly winner gets $2,500 for being FAB and improving the workplace. These four quarterly winners are then placed in the running to receive the Annual FAB Award - a grand prize of $10,000!
All FAB submissions that are implemented are displayed on our very prestigious “Wall of FAB” located in the main hallway of both CR facilities.
DiRT AWARD
Doing the Right Thing Award
The Doing the Right Thing award is also given away once per quarter at one of our monthly all-company huddles. DiRT awards are extra fun because they reward those who do the right thing even when they think no one is around to notice. Anyone can receive a DiRT award, and anyone can nominate anyone.
Any gesture, however large or small- a team member
lending a helping hand or stepping up to fix a situation,
a smile, a kind word, are all eligible for this award.
Winners are selected randomly through a drawing out of a hat. The winner gets $500 in their pocket, and the satisfaction of knowing that they did the
right thing.
“You’re AWESOME” AWARD
Expecting the Best Award
Being awesome is pretty standard here at CR. We believe every single one of our team members is awesome... if they weren’t, they simply wouldn’t have fit in here in the first place.
With all of us being so awesome
all the time, we now have a way
to recognize when someone is continually being extra awesome and expecting the best out of their situations, their peers, and even themselves; carrying on the long CR tradition of awesomeness. The “You’re Awesome” award is passed on to an Ambassador by the last “Awesome” Ambassador on a quarterly basis. We’re all awesome. But this award of Awesome is extra awesome.
Yes, there is a traveling trophy involved, along with serious bragging rights. Have we said “awesome” enough on this page?
